Temple Thoughts - April 13, 2012

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness: ¹⁵ And your feet shod with preparation of the gospel: ¹⁶Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

¹⁷ And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. -- Ephesians 6:14-17

§  Firemen wear Helmets, fire boots, fire protective pants, gloves, face shields.

o   Policemen wear Bullet proof vests, radios for communications.

§  Football Players wear helmets, shoulder pads, knee pads.

·         Race car drivers wear helmets, fireproof clothing, gloves.

§  Moms carry love, band-aids, lotion, hugs and laughter.

o   Dads carry love, tough words when needed and much more.

§  Preachers carry Bibles, God’s word, Wisdom, an ear that listens.

I just want to remind you when you go into the world bring your safety gear from God.
