It is a
misconception that God wants to keep His will a great mystery. I have come to believe He wants us to know
His plan for our lives. I also have come to believe he doesn’t give us the
whole plan at once lest we get the “Luby’s mentality,” where
we pick and choose which entrée and vegetables we want. God gives us his plans incrementally and
watches for people who will take and run with that which he gives before he
gives us more.
Father, help us to listen to your word and then become doers of
the word and not hearers only. -- Dave Arena
